* All data on this page was collected with a production model of DJI Matrice 5T in a controlled test environment. Actual experience may vary depending on the environment, usage, and firmware version.
** All videos and photos on this page were shot in strict compliance with local laws and regulations. Demos, including wildlife, were shot from a safe distance and are used for reference only. Always check and adhere to local laws and regulations, and ensure all necessary permits and certifications have been obtained prior to flight.
1. Refer to the User Manual on the Downloads page for operating conditions and precautions of the omnidirectional vision system. Positioning and obstacle-sensing performance may be affected by the flight environment and obstacle characteristics. Please fly with caution.
2. Please follow the requirements stated in the IP55 protection rating instructions. This product has been tested under controlled laboratory conditions and achieved an IP55 rating. IPX5 water-resistance test conditions: (1) nozzle internal diameter of 6.3 mm; (2) water flow rate of 12.5 L/min (±5%); (3) water pressure of approximately 30 kPa; (4) distance from the nozzle to the product: 2.5 to 3 m; (5) test duration of at least 1 minute per square meter of surface area, with a total duration of at least 3 minutes; (6) water sprayed onto the enclosure from all directions. IP5X dust-resistance test conditions: (1) dry, non-abrasive fine dust used as the test medium; (2) fineness sufficient to pass through a flat square-mesh sieve with a mesh aperture of 75 μm and a wire diameter of 50 μm; (3) dust concentration of 2 kg per cubic meter of test chamber volume; (4) test duration of 8 hours; (5) test conducted in a sealed dust chamber. The IP rating is not permanently effective and may decrease due to normal wear and tear.
3. Measured in a controlled wind tunnel environment under conditions equivalent to a windless environment at sea-level altitude, with the aircraft flying forward at approximately 9 m/s without payloads until reaching 0% battery level. Data is for reference only. Actual flight time may vary depending on the flight mode, accessories, and environment. Please pay attention to reminders in the app.
4. This feature is unavailable in countries or regions without 5GHz frequency support. Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.
5. Listed accessories are sold separately.
6. DO NOT expose the infrared thermal camera lenses to strong sources of energy such as the sun, lava, or a laser beam. Otherwise, the camera sensor may be burned, leading to permanent damage.
7. Measured in a specific test environment with Night Scene mode enabled and ISO set to the maximum of 1,600,000. Actual observation and calibration results may vary due to environmental factors such as atmospheric visibility, target surface reflectivity, and light pollution. Refer to actual usage.
8. Measured under standard lighting conditions from a horizontal position 10 meters away from the subject, with a direct line of sight.
9. Captured with the tele camera directly facing the subject.
10. Measured at an ambient temperature of 25° C (77° F), with visibility greater than 8 km, target reflectivity > 25% (905nm wavelength), and the LiDAR beam striking the target surface perpendicularly.
11. The NIR auxiliary light is suitable for the lighting needs of the tele camera.
12. Measured when the aircraft is hovering 100 meters above the ground, with the tele camera effectively capturing images.
13. When directly facing a transmission line (21.6 mm steel-core aluminum stranded wire), obstacle sensing is supported at speeds up to 21 m/s. When directly facing a distribution line (12 mm steel-core aluminum stranded wire), obstacle sensing is supported at speeds up to 15 m/s. Obstacle sensing performance may vary depending on environmental conditions (such as cloud, fog, rain, or snow), as well as the material, position, and shape of the target object. Due to the limitations of the safety system, the aircraft cannot actively avoid fast-moving objects; please fly with caution in such environments. Refer to the user manual for more information. The mmWave radar function may be unavailable or restricted in some countries or regions. Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.
14. Measured with a 21.6mm steel-core aluminum stranded wire within the LiDAR FOV under sunny conditions with good lighting and no direct sunlight (illuminance < 35,000 lux).
15. Without installing the spotlight or speaker accessories, the visual obstacle sensing remains active in urban night lighting scenarios. The Vision System cannot detect object surfaces without texture features or with illumination less than 0.5 lux. Refer to the user manual for more information.
16. When the ambient light is below 12 lux, the visual sensor switches to black-and-white mode.
17. The vision system may not function properly when DJI Matrice 5T flies over water. Maintain full control of the aircraft at all times. Fly in environments with adequate lighting and clearly textured surfaces below the aircraft. Avoid environments with reflections and dynamic changes.
18. Fire detection is only available in the visible-light camera view.
19. The feature is not available in some countries and regions. Check local laws and regulations for more information.
20. The 40 km max transmission distance is achieved under the IC standard. The maximum transmission distance is 20 km under the SRRC standard in Mainland China, the CE standard in Europe, and the MIC standard in Japan. Measured in an unobstructed environment free of interference. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one-way, non-return flights under each standard. During your flight, pay attention to the RTH reminder on the DJI Pilot 2 app.
21. Allowed operating frequencies vary by country and region. Refer to local laws and regulations for more information.
22. Must be used in areas with cellular network coverage.
23. Measured in accordance with the GB 42590-2023 standard. The testing distance was 4.5 m, with the ground measuring point at 0.5 m height and the side measuring point at 5 m height. Actual flight noise may vary depending on the environment, payloads, and flight conditions.
24. Measured in a controlled wind tunnel environment under conditions equivalent to a windless environment at sea-level altitude.
25. The single-axis thrust comparison is based on the maximum test-bench thrust measured against Matrice 4T under identical laboratory conditions. Both tests were conducted under conditions equivalent to a windless environment at sea-level altitude, with the single-axis propulsion system secured to a test bench and tested at the battery platform voltage. Actual flight payload is affected by multiple factors, including aircraft configuration, flight attitude, and environmental conditions. Please refer to the official Specs page for the maximum payload capacity.
26. Measured with the aircraft executing Ortho or Oblique operations in Area Route (not Terrain Follow) at an altitude of 120 m, capturing 12 MP images.
27. Measured at a flight altitude of 100 m and a flight speed of 15 m/s, with an 80% forward overlap rate and a 70% side overlap rate.
28. Measured in an environment with interference levels below -90 dBm and the aircraft within a 500 m radius of the remote controller. The processing time is calculated from the completion of image capture to final output.
29. In windless conditions, the power line inspection feature supports single-, twin-, quad-, hexa-, and octo-bundled conductors, as well as ground wires, with an inclination of less than 40°.
30. It is recommended to use the feature when the ship speed is below 10 knots and the wind speed is below 5 m/s; exercise caution in other environments. It is recommended to reserve a 3 m × 3 m takeoff and landing space on the deck. Standard landing point pattern files are available on the download page.
31. Displays a maximum of three feeds simultaneously. Custom combinations are not supported.
