The Reach RX2 is the next evolution of the Reach RX series, lightweight, durable, and now equipped with tilt compensation and all-band GNSS support. Designed to make centimetre-level accuracy accessible to everyone, the RX2 is simple enough for new users yet powerful enough for demanding professional workflows.
Tilt Compensation
Measure without leveling – collect points even with a tilted pole while maintaining RTK + 2 mm + 0.3 mm/° accuracy (same as RS3).
Fast initialization – tilt compensation activates in 7–10 seconds with just a couple of rotations, compared to 30–40 seconds on RS3.
Resistant to magnetic interference – the IMU chip does not rely on a magnetometer, so accuracy is unaffected by cars, steel structures, or electronics.
Factory calibrated – ready to use out of the box, no additional user calibration required.
Secure quick-release mount – engineered thread and adapter design ensures stable attachment and accuracy during tilt.

672-channel GNSS receiver – supports all constellations and frequencies, including GPS L5 and BeiDou-3.
SSR & L-band ready – future support for services like Galileo HAS will deliver 5–20 cm accuracy without RTK.
New GNSS antenna – stronger reception and improved performance under tree canopy.
RTK via NTRIP – centimetre-level accuracy in real time.
Note: RX2 cannot be used as a base or for PPK logging.
Ultra-light – weighs less than a smartphone, easy to carry anywhere.
IP68 rating – water-resistant up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes and fully dustproof.
Long battery life – up to 16 hours of continuous operation per charge.
Made for iPhone (MFi) certified – works with iOS apps beyond Emlid Flow.
Cross-platform compatibility – connect effortlessly with Android devices and third-party applications.
The Reach RX2 was built to make high-accuracy GNSS positioning accessible across industries, even for teams without dedicated surveyors.
GIS & Esri Users
Works seamlessly with ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, and QuickCapture.
Perfect for Esri’s closed ecosystem thanks to MFi certification and Emlid’s official Esri partnership.
Provides centimetre-level precision for workflows often limited to sub-meter accuracy.
Utility Operations
Compact size and tilt compensation make it ideal for trench work, confined spaces, and utility mapping.
Attach to a handle and pair with scanning apps to measure volumes, monitor progress, or capture as-built data.
Construction
Simplifies everyday layout and verification tasks like fence staking, elevation checks, and checkpoint collection.
Scalable across teams—easy to learn and reduces the risk of mistakes.
Compatible with Emlid Flow, supporting topography, layout, and team collaboration.
Landscaping
Delivers accurate topography and layout for design and execution.
Makes professional-grade results available to an industry often unfamiliar with GNSS equipment.
Terrestrial Scanning
Works with PIX4Dcatch and similar apps to capture precise 3D models.
Ideal for utility mapping, volume calculations, and as-built documentation.
Simple – connect to NTRIP, and the device handles the rest.
Versatile – fits into existing workflows, compatible with both professional and entry-level apps.
Accurate – tilt compensation and robust GNSS reception ensure precision in challenging environments.
Portable – compact, lightweight, and always ready for use.
Scalable – easy to train teams and expand deployment as needs grow.
