The right spray drone is decided by how much ground you need to cover in a spray window, what you are applying, and how far you are from a water and power source. Tank size is the headline number, but flow rate and swath width determine what you actually finish in a day.

We carry two manufacturers deliberately. DJI Agras is the volume platform with the deepest accessory and parts ecosystem; ABZ Innovation is a European-built alternative with a different airframe and support philosophy. Figures below are from the manufacturer’s published specifications.

This is the part most buyers underestimate, and it is the reason to buy from a dealer rather than an online marketplace. Spraying from a remotely piloted aircraft is regulated on two separate fronts, and both apply.
Transport Canada regulates the aircraft and the pilot. Spray drones sit well above the 25 kg threshold that governs standard RPAS operations, so the certificate and authorisation path differs from flying a small survey drone.
Applying a registered product means following its label, and pesticide applicator licensing is administered provincially. What is required in Alberta is not identical to Ontario or Quebec.

It depends far more on your refill logistics than on the aircraft. A larger tank reduces the number of trips, but every cycle still costs ground time for mixing, loading and battery swaps. DJI publishes 12 hectares per hour for the Agras T25 in field operations. Spreading payloads are typically higher than spray payloads on the same airframe, the Agras T50 is published at 40 kg spraying and 50 kg spreading. If you need both, say so when you enquire, because it affects which platform and which accessory kit makes sense.
